From the Minister’s Desk
An Open Letter to the UU Fellowship of Pottstown, PA.
This September 2016 we began our second year together in our shared ministry. I am excited to continue serving as your spiritual leader and work with you to grow this community. Together we can build this faith community offering a liberal, progressive religious presence and voice in the Pottstown area. I bring to UUFP 17 years of ministry experience and a 30-year background in business. My last ministry was in the Atlanta Ga. area before I temporarily retired in December 2013. I found retirement not to my complete liking and felt that I had more to offer.
I currently live in Willingboro, New Jersey where I lived 60 years ago, in the same area where I lived most of my life and raised my family. Life seems to have come full circle.
My faith of origin is Judaism and I have been a Unitarian Universalist for 48 years. I am in a committed relationship with my partner Rick. I have two grown sons; David, age 45 and Peter, 40. David lives in Colorado with his wife Kathy and my two grandchildren, age 12 and 9. My younger son Peter lives in Washington State.
Recognizing the limits of a very part-time ministry, I pledge to offer all my experience and skills to the spiritual and interpersonal need of this beloved community. I look forward to continuing the process of getting to know all of you better as we work together to create a more loving supportive community that serves your spiritual needs.
Yours in our shared faith,
Rev. Paul D. Daniel
